Here I am taking the police officer’s advice and taking it up with the city council.  I asked what the “policy” is that the officer was referring to and if the city allows 15 year olds with no drivers licenses or ID to get in a car and drive off.

Elizabeth Schneider was the only council members who acknowledged my question.  She asked the city manager, Ken Frank, “Our police do ask to see drivers licenses, don’t they?” He responded with “They are supposed to, but the way she told the story doesn’t sound right.”

I guess he was implying that I lied about the whole incident, even though I provided each council member a set of these photographs.
