| May 4, 2008 we observed Laguna Beach police pull over a carload of suspected illegal aliens. You will see from the pictures in this gallery that instead of following the law, the Laguna Beach police merely wrote the men a citation and let them drive away. When the police were questioned as to why they did not follow the law and impound the car and arrest the suspects I was threatened with ARREST! See the captions on the pics for the story. | 10 | May 11, 2008 | |
| May 3, 2008 a group of concerned Patriots gathered in front of Los Angeles High School in remembrance of Jamiel Shaw and to support Jamiel's Law. Jamiel Shaw was gunned down by an illegal alien who had just been released from prison 24 hours prior to his killing Jamiel. There is speculation that the motive for the murder is because Jamiel was black and his killer is Latino. Jamiel's Law is a proposal to rescind LAPD's Special Order 40. | 76 | May 04, 2008 | |
| MAY DAY in San Diego. This was a 2-Fer day! We started at the Mexican Consulate. The rally was peaceful. Great SDMM Patriots! The next rally was in the afternoon at San Diego Community College. There was approx. 100 illegal aliens and their supporters getting ready for a march. There was only 6 Patriots, which included me, my (legal immigrant) husband, and my Latina daughter. Once the crowd learned my daughter was Hispanic and standing against illegal immigration they attacked her. You can see by the pics that they were really giving her a hard time. I am so proud of her. She grabbed a sign and jumped up on a bench and gave it right back to them. She was a little fireball! | 76 | May 01, 2008 | |
| Judicial Watch came to Laguna Beach where they attended a party to honor them. It was a great success! Over 75 people joined in the fun, including Congressman Ed Royce, Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, Mayor of Orange Cavecche, Mayor of RSM Neil Blais, Councilpersons Wendy Leece (Costa Mesa), John Paul Ledesma (Mission Viejo), and Jon Dimutri (Orange), and Rosie Avila Santa Ana Schoolboard. Also representing officials were Emanuel Patrusca for State Senator Tom Harman, and Ronnie Guyer for Assemblyman Van Tran. | 127 | Apr 06, 2008 | |
| On March 29th the local paper, Orange County Register, ran an announcement that the day laborers from Lake Forest were going to "give back to the community" by repairing fire eroded canyons in Modjeska Canyon (an area hit hard by the fires this summer). A group of concerned Americans showed up to see what it was all about and learned that it was all a set up planned by the ACLU and the Orange County Register newspaper to make it appear the day laborers were donating their time to the community. Check out the pics in this gallery to see the TRUTH involving this story. | 38 | Mar 30, 2008 | |
| The Mexican government has been spreading rapidly setting up Martricular Consular card giveaways at schools, churches, and businesses. We were shocked when we arrived at St. Joachim Catholic Church to find HUNDREDS of people lined up to receive their ID cards. Please note* this ID card is NOT accepted as legal in Mexico. It is NOT a legal ID in the United States either. Some banks, businesses, and even the Laguna Beach police department accept it as proper ID though. If one is in this country LEGALLY they have a Green Card, so the only ones who need a Marticular card are those who are here ILLEGALLY. | 39 | Mar 30, 2008 | |
| Great crowd turn out to preview the movie "Broken Borders" Terry Anderson was a surprise guest! | 36 | Mar 27, 2008 | |
| McCain made a trip to Newport Beach Island's Hotel for a $2,300 per person fundraiser. A group of us decided to send a message to him that we are NOT on his side as far as his immigration policies. There were a few anti-war protesters there and 3-4 Pro-McCain people. The rally was very successful, with lots of media attention. | 123 | Mar 25, 2008 | |
| Code Pinko has been protesting the war at the Orange Circle every week. Tonight they held a "special" event to mark the 5th anniversary of the Iraqi War. Groups of Patriots gathered to counter their protest. The Veterans were GREAT! Some of the groups who rallied to support the USA were: The Patriot Guard Riders, American Legion Riders, the Minutemen, and Betsy Ross Patriots. | 39 | Mar 19, 2008 | |
| A group of Patriots descend on Placentia's city council meeting after one of their city officials threatened to SUE the city of Lake Forest, because he was cited for hiring day laborers off the street. His name is Hubble. When Hubble spoke at the Lake Forest city council he claimed he was Placentia's City Manager. That was false. The city council was wonderful and very concerned. The mayor thanked us and expressed that he would be sure that the matter is investigated. Hubble was shamed and embarrassed. He hung his head and turned bright red as we spoke. | 19 | Mar 18, 2008 | |
| We attended a neighborhood meeting in Lake Forest where our Assemblyman Chuck DeVore was the guest speaker. Afterwards I was able to talk with him extensively about the Laguna Beach DLS situation. We have agreed to a future meeting on the issue and it looks like there is great progress. See the Documents section for the letter DeVore recently sent to ICE. | 5 | Feb 29, 2008 | |
| Connie, of Judicial Watch's California office was the guest speaker. She did a wonderful job of updating us on the progress of LA's "Special 40" case and of course, our very own Laguna Beach case. Sheriff Bill Hunt was there campaigning for the top seat at the Sheriff Dept. since Sheriff Mike Corona has been indicted. | 12 | Feb 29, 2008 | |
| The MM organized a press conference to address San Juan Capistrano's school district use by the Mexican government to distribute Mexican Consular cards. | 11 | Feb 14, 2008 | |
